I am using Panasonic ZS7 (TZ10). Picture quality is quite good. Focus speed is okay, acceptable. Love its P/A/S/M manual exposure cabability. Noise level okay for 20" screen viewing. Video is great. Most of all, its GPS function is quite good, esp for travelling. I give it a 7.5 out of 10 rating.
Don't like Sony, except its panorama function.
Tried the Fuji F300 briefly at shop. The focus seem quite fast. The zoom from the widest 24mm to the tele end at 360mm is quite fast too. And the picture quality quite good for ISO up to 1600. However, one thing I don't like is the flash. The pop up design of the flash is always up whenever you switch on the camera, even you have the flash "forced off". But you may wait for a detailed review of it.
