公司剛買了一台photo900, 用Epson premium glossy paper 印相。 每張打印出來的相片表面總是明顯被"轆"花了! 是每一台900都是一樣嗎? 還是買了一台不良品呢? 可否退換? Refund?

I also get the same experience but it not so significant for HP glossy paper.
Do you think that it can be solved by adjust the level on the left rear part of 900 ?

I've called up Epson this afternoon. The epson guy said that this is abnormal. They asked me to send the printer to their technical department for evaluation. Howeverr, the epson guy said that they can not replace a new one to me even if it is a factory defect! Ridiculus!

我部Epson photo 810都有咁o既現象，係壓出來一點點o既痕，咁耐我都以為係正常現象，乜原來唔掂架？

I find that this problem is more serious in using the Epson Premium Glossy Paper than using the Epson Economic Paper and HP Glossy Paper.
Anyway, it is not so significant that I will never try to send for checking or repair. Because if this is a general problem of Epson printers, I think it is impossible for them to solve it.

Since I am in vacation in these days, I am back now.

For the problem of the rolling gear problem, it is not common problem, you can come and take a look of the printing when we are doing roadshow in computer centre or come to service centre in Wai Chai CRC building to see the demo.

You said it is not a general problem. It is great! In other words, it is a factory defect, right? Am I entitled to be replaced a brand new, no defect printer from Epson? If no, why? What is Epson's warranty policy?

I've printed a photo with Canon High glossy film. The result is terrible! Or I can say it is more obvious. Please comment. Thanks.

Print one sample using EPSON paper and take the printer with you back to EPSON to repair la.
They can repair the machine within one day.
Remember the receipt. Before you go to EPSON , dial 25854399 to ask the detail. Thanks!

Thanks for your comment. But my point is that if it is a factory defect, epson should replace a new one. Right? Although I know it makes almost no difference to "be replaced" or "be repaired". (BTW, I am operating a electronic factory in china), but it is absolutely ridiculus while wasting our time to take it back for repair!!!!!!!!!
Please note that the printer was bought only a week time. And we wasted a lot of ink and papers to test it.

It surely damage epson reputation in the market! I will not buy any epson product again! By the way, I received excellent services from Canon Marketing for my Camera and printer. I think this explain why Canon just break a record of earning while epson earning is @!#$!

By the way, if you want to know more about the problem instead of bring the machine to EPSON. I recommend you one method. In these weekend, go to Golden shopping centre and find one shop with our promotor and the shopping is printing with EPSON printer. Check all the setting and compare with your printer to see whether the setting is difference. Since I operate photo 900 in EPSON, there is no such problem that you have mentioned. Do you find the same problem when you print the CD? Also, do you find any problem when you print with only some inkjet paper? Before one printer is introduced to market, we have done a lot of testing on the printing media and use other brand of media to find out whether there are any problems. We have used Canon , HP's photo paper to test and find that it work almost perfectly with we use Canon photo paper with Photo 900 but a little bit dim when using HP photo paper. However, the image is really great no matter you only use some normal inkjet paper.
Also, we have tested all the printers in the market, for example Canon and HP new printer. However, we find some problems about them. ( I cannot tell you here since it violates the rules).
I really hope you can solve this problem and get a positive image of EPSON. EPSON stills have at least 40% market shares in printer market.
