finally, i bought Lexmark 6170 because of its cheap price.
my main concern on buying a printer is the cost of the ink. whether the ink could be substitited by the cheaper ones ( only $20-30) was heavily considered.
HP2410- the substituted ink costs almost the same as the original ones
MP730 - its substituted ink is quite cheap and can be bought easily while the volume of the org. ink is relatively low, which means you need to frequently replaced it. For a price of $26xx, u have to consider whether u would dare to use those cheap ink.
no substituted ink for Brother, it's expensive and u wont be able to buy it easily.
Lexmark - the ink is expensive but the volume as emphasized by the manufacturer, is so much bigger, which is around 3-5 times the other brand in terms of ink quantity, but bear in mind not necessarily the no. of print-out ( who knows it might use more ink to print a paper ).
Boardway has offered a promotion at $1990 for 6170 or $1790 for 6150 AND most importantly, u could get TWO INK CARTRIDGE before 28/2, which cost $470.
So i bought Lexmark after month's careful consideration but havn't used it yet.
