第一次買DC , Canon A80 ,
因為問過價錢 , 多數不包CF卡 , 充電 , 充電器 , 機套?

但不知應買幾多MB數的CF卡(學生)?
不知買什麼數值充電池 ,充電器?
不要要幾錢?

$3000 有256MB 卡抵嗎 ?
$ 2980 有128MB 抵嗎 ?
$ 2750 有64MB 卡抵嗎 ?

但還要再買充電池 ,充電器, 機套?
所以想買平些 ,

It's up to you, FYI, A80 can store 14 Large images in SuperFine mode on a 32MB media, and 27 in Fine and 54 in Normal modes respectively.

So if you get a 256MB media, you can roughly store about 112, 216 and 432 images in SuperFine, Fine and Normal modes respectively, halve the numbers for a 128MB media.

You may check the prices of CF in computer centres too and calculate the $/MB ratio for each of the capacity.

Different CF do have speed differences too, faster ones are more expensive. But since A80 is not a quick-shooting camera, I don't think it will be a problem, but get the faster one if you can anyway.

Major flash makers are going to drop the prices of flash chips so expect CF flahses to cost cheaper in the following months.

For battery and chargers, you may get a set of 1hr charger with 4 cells for around $200, or a slower charger for under $200.

I would choose $3,000 with 256MB card. Faster card would be welcome but not necessary if not frequently taking continuous shots.

For batteries, look for those 2300mAh NiMH AA batteries from SANYO. Those are very famous in NiMH batteries. They are selling about HK$90 (a pack of 4 AA) at Apliu Street. Although there are some 2400mAh cells, they are very expensive (nearly double that of 2300mAh) and not worth the additional 100mAh capacity.

For chargers, choose those having 4 channels NiMH chargers. Manufactures such as Sanyo and Panasonic do have such kind of chargers. They are selling at about $230 to $250 with 4xAA included at Apliu Street.
