I'm curious (but naive), who is interested in using vaio pocket as a digital wallet with their new dc? I know some of u uses gmini, but... it aint a 'Sony'! (I'm a fan).

The model in HK is HDPS-M1. HK Sony list price HKD2,880

我以為你話Sony個digital wallet ＨＤＰＳ﹣Ｍ１,日本賣30,000JPY，香港2880。
Before it was announced in japan I heard a Sony people said it MAY be launched in Hong Kong. However the price of Water goods seems very high (nearly 5,000??) In this price i don't think it worth. Comparing the design I prefer iPod to this ugly stuff (my personal opinion)
BTW, you said VGF-AP1 can be used as a digital wallet? How?

Thanks for yr advice for the digital link last time. As I am not so familiar with the IT gadgets world., I stil haven't made up my mind which one one should go for. (i-pod with digital link, Son- as W-1 user myself and Iriver 20G with color LCD) It seems that iriver is quite good. I haven't tried it yet. I hope my friend will get one soon. If it's good, I will buy one.

But it's quite scary to find out the following. Does it mean the products is not mature or something?

yes mad dog i think its best 2 get silver as the black paint will not last as long. am deciding on which digital wallet 2 get. current fav is sony HMP-A1.

HDPS-M1 sounds great but yr news is very disappointing, + no lcd... so even a gmini 200 would be better.

Archos AV320 is fine too, if not expensive.
