新機來的，is this a common problem?? Have check its not battery problem. I think I will buy a charger anyway.

乜 G5用機叉電架咩？用BP511架嗎？唔係有叉坐咩？架機應該差唔到電架係嗎！我冇用過機叉電哦。

No charger with my 行貨 it comes with a transformer and cable to go into the ‘dc in’ of the camera for charging. Got myself a charger now and problem solved for the time being. No time to go to get it fixed la, but still interested to know if anybody else with G5 had this problem.
