Just bought a Digitmate III. Had heard good thing about the Digimate II from 2 fds before, so I bought this one. It replaces my everyday-use external USB hdd (with OTG, but very unreliable when use with AA battery box + card reader to perform digital wallet functions)

Small and light; easy to pack and carry
Decent construction; good looking
3-colour OLED display
Uses replaceable battery (I think it's one of the common Nokia mobile battery)
Works as card reader and regular external USB hdd without using power supply and at the same time charging the battery (very slowly though)

Memory card -> hdd
1GB Kingston Elite Pro (60x or 80x ?) - 7~8 mins.
2GB Transcend 120x - 13~14mins.
Note that the copy speed depends on memory card speed as well as hdd speed. I'm using a Toshiba 60gb 5400rpm drive.

Battery needs to 'run-in' a few more recharging cycle before it can fully perform.

會不會遺失相片和會不會突然失靈 depends greatly on battery condition. Just make sure you always have full charged battery and it should be quite reliable. Try not to trust too much on the battery meter though - this goes the same for all digital wallet in this price range - as it can be quite misleading.

Correction: I don't think it charges battery via USB connection... Need to have a separate power supply if you want to use it as external hdd for extended period of time :(

Follow-up: The unit I just bought was actually flawed. I have exchanged a new unit, and yes indeed, it charges battery via USB connection when plug into PC while works as an external hdd.
