Hi all,

I'm using olympus om-1 (just tried the first outdoor daytime shooting), whenever I shoot with a higher shutter speed, e.g. >1/250 (mostly with a large aperture), there is a big piece of black shading in the right bottom corner (see links below) . Any suggestion about what's going on with my camera and what should I repair. Thanks a lot for your help.

Pure guess ... as it doesn't happen at lower shutter speeds, I guess something is wrong with the shutter system (esp. curtain) and it didn't move as fast as it should be. Hence leaving a shadow/image on the film from the curtain.

but strange the dark side is at right side

一般見個 curtain 係上而下 or 下而上 move，左至右我未見過，可能我見得少

Take your camera to there, I suggest.

BTW, 135 format cameras' shutter run in two way:
1. horizontal, e.g. OM-1, older camera, with lower flash sync speed; and
2. vertical, newer camera, with faster flash sync speed.
