You are right the CP5000 provide a more wide angle (19mm), but it must working with WCE-68 wide angle adapter.

Basically I think CP5000 can provide you more flexibility on take pic from different angles than 995.

Since it is using Twisted-Flip LCD. You can rotate whatever angle you want. Compare 995, I can said it is more easy to take a pic with different angle and good hand feeling, but it is not that perfect as CP5000 when you taking vertical photo.
