Ok first this pic was taken in May/June on One Tree Hill summit. I think glo bro knows where it is...



Second, the mole hill on right hand side in the pic was Mt. Wellington. In fact it's not a mountain but a mole hill! I lived somewhere near there.



Third, the inner gulf that appears above the mole hill is half moon bay which is a small beach in the eastern suburb.
