Hi, Fatboy. I've posted a photo of this model as well. U can check the EXIF to see my Z3 setting. I prefer to use S or A setting, rather than auto.

Try to use less flash power. Z6 has "flash compensation" function. U can turn it down to -1.0 when U stand close to the subject. At car show, try to use lo shutter speed (I usually use 1/15 - 1/30s) so that the photo will not be under-exposed and white clothes won't be too bright. Good luck!
