Thanks a lot, Dominic and Mr. Chan. don't spoil me, ^_^. It takes long time waiting until the birds stop on a spot where the bird itself can be seen well. It's not aloowed to use any tripod inside the cage in HK garden although Ive seen someone's using one. I'll find more places and do my best to improve. I'll do it in alternate days cuz I only teach 2 to 3 hrs in week days. Thanks a lot.

It is quite difficult to take birds pic.

They move fast and physically small.

With a long lens like 730 it would be blurred when the camera is hand held.

Using tripod is not convinient but seems it is the best way to avoid blur.

As an alternative, sometimes I use burst mode to take consecutive pic and choose the best one.



The bird in this pic stands out from the background.
