Logically speaking, this IS lens can take photos at 4 stops-down of a normal shutter speed. But I find that it can actually reduce a shutter speed by 2 stops slower.



Well, 40D body plus this lens is a good choice as a starter kit. Just learn that 40D has reduced a retail price in China. If you consider to get it, then you should hold on until a few weeks later.
