Thank you kswiss, I wish to sent all my warmest regards to you, your wife and your little baby, wish you have a happy and healthy baby.
Dear web-mates, we just brought our little Sky back to hospital yesterday.
His body has turned yellowish, medical speaking "he's jandiced". This is because he's liver was immature and not capable to breakdown and pass out all toxic inside his little body.
When doc said his yellowish index reach 379 (normal should under 280) when we admitted to hospital, we're so worry. Fortunately, after 4 hrs emergency treatment (surround my baby by 3 florcent lamps), the index drops to 310. Doc said since the index stop climbing up, it's already good sign, al means there's no other hidden or unknown cause of the yellowish.
Baby has to stay under lamps for at least another day. We back home after midnight and feel reliefed.
I start to understand when my friends told me "be prepared your baby may needs to visit hospital frequently"
Our little Sky just gone through his first battle against the jandice, so as his parents. We start realised child's own problem has to be resolved by himself but nothing can be done by parents. All we can do is "observe", "assist", "guidance", "support" and "appreciation".
Wish all parents have wonderful parenthood.
