Uncle Harry, a small private shoemaker, has been handcrafting the finest shoes in England since 1898. He was renowned for the skill of his craftsmen and his belief in excellence. Today the highest standards remain with each pair of shoes being solely handmade, using only the finest quality calfskin. Each pair takes several weeks to make and, many skilled craftsmen are involved.

Northampton, with over 100 years’ of heritage no less, is still the pioneer in luxury handcrafted shoes manufacturing and style in the UK. Oak bark and water for tanning, fine leather from local cattle markets, guarantees the highest quality, and attracted 2,000 plus individual shoemakers working there near the end of the 19th century.
