The JJC LH-78 Lens Hood is designed for the CAN.EF 50mm f/1.2L USM Lens. It helps prevent unwanted stray light from entering the lens by extending and shading the end of the lens. It is crafted from ABS plastic material and features a non-glare matte finish on the interior surface to limit lens flare further. The hood allows you to put on a Ф72mm filter and lens cap. Since the end of the lens is extended, you also get the added benefit of extra protection from accidental impact. In addition, the bayonet mount is designed to work in the reverse position, allowing the hood to be placed backward over the lens for more compact storage.
JJC LH-78 replaces CAN.ES-78 lens hood. No vignetting will show with the hood on.
