【Lens】
1. Super value.
2. 90/2.8 Tele-Elmarit II (11800) Made in Germany. A favorite for street photographers, allowing capture of decisive moment at a comfortable distance, esp. from across a street.
3. Size wise it’s slightly longer than a 50 Cron w/ same or less weight, 11800 is ideal for discrete candidate photo at available light.
4. The 2 test pix were shot by Doug handheld at night @2.8 w/ 11P. At the right angle, 90/2.8 offers excellent sense of compression (壓縮感), producing a composition with lasting appeal.
5. Acute sharp wide open.
【Why so cheap?】
Cosmetically mint.
Only ‘flaw’ is the coating spots on #1 element, which common to this lens and don’t affect pic quality.
The coating spots are like those often found with Rigid, and only visible at certain angle. Optically in superb condition except those tiny dots.
Owner, a perfectionist, sell it at loss.
His loss is your gain.
