“Nor” (Normal) Basic Mode

This is slower AF speed, lower accuracy and lower capability, and based on the Sony LA-EA1 and LA-EA3 adapter. It is widely to use in most EOS-NEX adapter in the market because of the simple coding. The only advantage is apply on the Sony a7rII, “Nor” (Normal) Adapter Basic mode supports phase detect AF and AF-C. It provides fast AF on Sony a7R II. “Nor” (Normal) Basic Adapter mode is recommend to use on a7rII only.


“Fn” (Function) Advance Mode

It base on the native Sony FE lenses and first appear on EOS-NEX AF adapter. It's complicate, difficult to edit and decode but much accuracy, better capability and faster. It can do everything native lens can, support AF-C, AF-A, DMF, AF in video and so on. Under this mode, the lens would get 300% faster than the 1st generation AF adapter(tested on Sony a7 camera). This is highly recommend to use on Sony a7, a7II, a6000 and a5100 camera.
