我由用開Android有HTC Sense 界面轉到arc的心得:
HTC Sense 實在太好用了, 而且有好多貼心功能是Arc / 其他原生Android 沒有的-

1. 電少: 唔打機只係聽歌上網+WHATSAPP/FACEBOOK勉强用到10個鐘，個返到屋企得返5%。打埋機半日玩完

本身用IPHONE4+DESIRE Z，想要部大SCREEN返工睇野方便啲。
整體上都覺得好好用，BATTERY LIFE 其實同大部份ANDROID 機差唔多，都係短命。
大SCREEN真係好開心，因為工作上需要成日要睇大篇文字，IPHONE4 睇得比較吃力。

我用左se手機超過10年, 一向外型取勝, 有別其他牌子, 直到兩年前用samsung i908, 失望, 對上samsung galaxy S, 更失望, 我唔係smartphone專家, 以部機爽, 快, 靚, 方便計, 下下要人去root機...死得...對於好多唔識root機既人黎講, 幾勁都冇用, 部i9000窒爆, fb10次hang9次, 之後直頭唔敢開, 平均每日hang機一次, 電...兩舊都用唔到一日...越用越慢..半年後放了...入左xperia arc.

I am very disappointed to arc.
優點:
a. Light and good hand-grip feels
b. Touch screen precise and responsive, joy to use
c. Screen sized at 4.2” is good (just slightly too big for 1-hand operation, but manageable), viewing angle is great, too.
Viewing under sunlight not a problem now.
d. Music sound (codec) is sweet and great, best quality among all 5 Android phones used/test (ARC > XT701 = DEFY > MS1 >> IDEOS X5)
e. Camera with flash is good and responsive, focusing is fast and precise/sharp, another joy to use. Yet personally I think the picture quality is still at the age of being DC-like, but good for snapshot purpose.
f. The hand-free speaker not being too loud and powerful, yet good for indoor use.
g. For the phone speaker, I can hear very clearly on the street. The air sound quality is pretty impressive (quite comparable to Moto’s CT).
h. WIFI and Bluetooth connection is strong and stable.
i. Operation is very smooth, without hang-ups for 5 days. Great!
j. Quadrant scoring 1615 (used a Class-10 16GB uSD card); Linpack ranged 35 ~ 37.56 MFlops, NeoCore = 59.5 FPS
k. 3D gaming is faster than IDEOS X5 (which is not bad already)
l. Can do real-time focusing when in video-taking mode.
m. SE Arc’s launcher is easy to use and pretty configurable; even it is not the fastest launcher.
n. Heard that SE does not lock the bootloader, meaning in the future there could be 3rd part ROM, one of the reason buying ARC.

1. About the complaint of SLOW boot-up time, I did a stop-watch timing analysis:
0’0” : pressed POWER ON button
0’8” : “Sony Ericsson” showed on screen
0’20” : Animation and SE LOGO showed on screen
1’10” : Main GUI loaded and can do screen un-lock
1’30” : Phone fully ready for use (all widgets, pre-set applications loaded)
Such time is okay to me, even I bet the boot up time can be better, but it is tolerable to me.
2. I think the Chinese GUI interface is only kind of “extension-like外挂” as many other running screen/menus are shown in English (yet all needed Chinese displays like news are OK). Although I am OK, it lacks a sense of friendliness親切感 without the real T-Chn display of application menus.
3. Same as many Chings’ comment, battery running out quickly. Can be solved with 2nd battery (Momex already has substitute model).
Believe it is mainly because many pre-loaded app/widgets running at background, drawing resources and battery. However, cannot do anything since the ARC cannot be rooted as of now.

The HTC IS is with good h/w but the workmanship is lousy…; Optimus 2X, well do not really know…
b. Hate the stupid CWB Bro.dway sales and they DID NOT KEEP THEIR WORDS!
As WILSON can take my XT701 as trade-in (for $1350), finally bought ARC at $3630 with a spare battery, HDMI cable and some other accessories.
c. ARC’s outlook and feel is really unique with style, just don’t like to carry a “school-uniform”-like iP4 as almost everyone carrying.
d. Music, phone sound and camera are joys to use, for me!!!
e. Just waiting ARC to be rooted, so that all the unwanted pre-load applications can be stopped/deleted.
f. If ARC can be with 512~1GB RAM RAM, and 1~2GB ROM, then ARC surely can be a killer Android and enlarger SE’s market share!

....之前WM之後轉AN，用過milestone,X10.HD2(刷2.3)，到ARC 一出即買！
雖然無好震撼既感覺！但用落發現值得既。
不再同WM比了，要就去看我之前X10既心得啦！
裝番用開既apps，就發現順左，真係有爽既感覺！
