優點:
- very responsive control, won't hesitate or lag for any operation
- excellent build quality, much better than the Nexus5, very tight tolerances, gap less design for the edges, the metal surroundings the edges feels high end and well polished.
- fast cpu make any game smooth to run, changing between apps by multitasking is very quick
- 3G RAM always with more than 1.4G free, making multitasking very smooth, some very big game can now pause and reply messages, then go back to play without reloading the game
- excellent screen resolution, well made gorilla glass made me confident to use without screen protector
- automatic backlight control very sensitive and wide range, no need to adjust the light manually to lowest when using it at night in bedroom
- running Android 5.1, very stable so far
- thin edge design, holding this big phone won't feel too difficult
- of course as a Nexus, no useless Apps/software installed by the "brands" which slow down the phone and uses the battery, now the battery can last for a little bit more than 1 day.
- "turbo charge" works great which charge up from 30% to 70-80% at around 15 minutes
- dual front facing stereo speaker is good and loud enough, and they are protruding from the front glass which also serves protecting the glass of the screen from scratching when putting screen down on tables.
缺點:
- very slippery back surface, got be careful as it virtually has no grip, must hold the phone with both thumb and index fingers covering both edges or it's easy to slip
- the "ergonomic" round bottom make most single coil Qi wireless charger very difficult to get the charging spot, what's even worst is there's no metal plate on the back for the magnets on the Qi charger to help correctly aligning the charging point
- no USB3.0, still using 2.0 made me always transfer file via Wifi instead as it's as fast as the USB when using 5Ghz AC Wifi network
- afterall 6inch is still a very large mobile phone
評價:
Using it for about a month, upgrade from Nexus 5, so i'm very comfortable with the clean Android environment, which is also the main reason for this Nexus 6. For a hefty beefy 6 inch mobile, it's almost done everything right. Powerful CPU, lots of RAM, thin design, HiRes screen, large battery....etc. I have no regret purchasing this expensive non-branded phone as the build quality and function is better or on par with any flagship model on the market.
For the Qi charging problem, I found it almost useless to try the New Nexus charge which I used happily with the Nexus5, as its charging spot is so tiny and difficult to find. But I found that the Nokia DT-910 charging pad works very great with it. I'm still finding a way how to put a DT-910 or similar charging pad with anti-slip patches into my car for charging it in car.
