Nice:)
There are sone tips for you to find out the most suitable “Macro”lens :-
1) The‘ reproduction ratio’
This is the magnifing power of the the lens. It always shows you with a ratio 1 to something. Usually, the maximum magnifing power of a bare lens is 1:1 which means the lens can produce an life-size image (same size of the object) onto the film.
If the Ratio is 1:2 thus the lens can produce an half size image on the film. So you know the choices.
2) The minimum focusing distance or close up distance.
It is very important if you want to take insect photos. It is easy to understand that longer distance get lesser disturbance to the living creatures so they will not jump or fly away.
The maximum magnification is at the closest distance.
3) Price
I get no words for it.
I hope it can help ^_^
