Thanks. Actually I think I made a mistake. D70 is using the RGB meter while my thinking is still clinging to the good old days e.g. gray scale metering in F90X. I took the picture with -1EV exp com. Perhaps I should just set 0 to -0.3 EV exp com using matrix metering. Another thing is that: it seems that the noise is higher (Even with NR) in D70 than in EOS300D. But in adequate daylight setting, the D70 crispy sharpened high contrast feeling suits me most.
