Hi dominic,
Personal feeling that the top green leaves and the bird is quite similar in color, maybe cut the top leaves and let the green bird solely in white background seem to have a better contrast.
The bottom green leaf already link with its tail, so maybe let more bottom plant in the frame make no difference if full zoom is used.
