上面網址有鬼佬發燒友祥盡評價呢部 Naim Nait 1, 俾D時間睇吓佢点講.................There were two versions of the first Nait, the original having a red LED power light and the second having a green one. According to Naim Audio at least, it’s an urban myth that the ‘red light’ NAITs sound better!
Naim Nait 1 instead of offering cheap circuitry in an expensive case – covered in acres of brushed aluminium and bouncing power meters – it offered lower calorie version of the electronics inside Naim’s respected 42.5/110 pre-power amp. Rather than a tarted-up low quality design, it was a cost-cut high quality one.
So what little power it has, is well deployed – and this means it can go quiet then loud with relative ease. The Nait doesn’t ‘sit’ on dynamic accents, and this allied to its fine transient speed makes for a lively listen. It’s never a dull moment with this little black box!

Naim Nait 今天所擁有的名聲，其實來自37年前推出的第一部綜擴Naim Audio Nait 1，她的聲音確實令人著迷。
我這部三年前由英國帶回港的古董 Nait 1 優缺點如下：
*全原裝，無摩改(插頭/電線都係原裝)，音質完美，絕無暗病，即買即用。
*三年前係英國完成檢修，更換低效率電容(原裝)，內部火牛，電容等零件健康完美。

缺點：*原裝面板膠片殘舊，有崩邊及破裂。(見圖2，面板膠片可自行更換)

1983年推出的Naim Audio Nait 1 外貌是一個細小黑色全鋁製機殼，裡面裝滿高質的零部件，這些零件精密地安裝在單主板上，其中包括良好的MM唱機輸入和出色的Holden & Fisher變壓器,大家公認Naim的好聲,其中原因來自這H&F.
Nait 1聲場巨大，開揚，立體且透明。樂器彷似漂浮在半空中，聲場的深度形成強烈空氣感的感覺。總的來說，聲音平衡，逼真，生動活潑，結果造就唱者與音樂完美的融合....................

First of all do not let the low power output fool you. This amp has grunt and drive in spades, more, much more than you'd expect from such a diminutive package. You'd be surprised to know that many Quadophiles consider this amp a perfect match for Quad ESL and ESL 63's electrostatic loudspeakers.
The tonal balance is a bit on the warm side, with an audible roll-off at the upper highs and a tilt at the mid-bass so to make the sound "bigger" than it actually is.
