優點:
Have used it since April 2004 and found it excellent in respects of image quality, functions and proprietary battery life.
About 387 million pixels at most are sufficient to produce up to 8R prints, although most of them have been in 4R style.
External marco lens can be applied to produce wide angle pictures.
Built-in flash is of very good quality and large size for offering lighting enhancement in dark environments.
AF lamp is strong for view even in outdoor sunlight environments: that's a great and helping signal for photographers to conveniently take pictures.
Completely satisfied with its proprietary battery 'EN-EL1' in terms of usage life after fully being charged and applicability in other Nikon DC models.
Very good 'hand feel' such that single hand can easily operate the DC to take shots without difficulty: excellent camera design.
Use of CompactFlash Card as image recording and reading medium is common, and I don't find it slow in speed in its function, perhaps because of the DC's upgraded image processor when interfaced with the CF Card: I have been using Nikon; Canon; Epson; Sanyo; and Excel (Torica/Toshiba) brands, all of which were made in Japan.

缺點:
No weaknesses found on this digital camera model in class of 4.0 megapixels. As it was made to meet photography enthusiasts' needs, there has not been any significant weaknesses and limitations found. If photographers however are to look for expandability and versatility, higher DC models would be applied.
