Wonderful.........slim, convenience! You have no problem to carry it everyday, just like your mobile phone. Now, I carry it everyday & I can take photo any time right now.

The lense is exposed at stand by mode....so it becomes bigger. Fortunately, the time from off to on is very fast.

1. Light, you won't get tired when carrying on your neck, can you imagine carrying a G5 for whole day?

2. Small, you will carry it everywhere you go. You just won't carry a 5700 everyday, right?

3. Battery life is reasonable, I used it for 3 days trip without charging. But it is better for an extra battery.

4. It provide most function you think a camera could give you. I think it just beat any Sony DC!

5. Much better than Z3.

6. Great Marco - 6cm is good enough for me.

7. The operation is easy, the 5 way button is great.

1. If you are looking for quality photo like what Contax, G5 or 5700 could give you, this camera will make you fustrate, cause it will never reach that level, this could only be an additional camera for you.

2. If you think you will use it for years, I suggest you go to Fortress, they provide 2 more years warrenty with $400, cause I don't think this kind of DC could last 2 years.

I buy this because it is small, slim and light weight which easy bring out to shoot compare with G2 bought 1.5 years ago. 3.2 mega pixels is okay for me. After several days trial, it is better to turn off the "Start Up Screen" to have faster lead time for capturing after power on. Increase "Sharpness" and decrease "Contrast" to improve the picture quality. It would resize and trim the photos taken copy from PC function, good things to save memory during critical moment. It is better using highest resolution and quality first to adjust freely afterwards. You would buy battery in Shum Shui Po of shop name "Battery Station" near MTR exit in Duck "New" Street for non-orginal brand in HKD190. Take photos on the books you do not want to buy easily (not good advice). Super Marco is good function for a very small camera which out of expectation. Especially for my work to take photos on small objects. Fast Movie is interesting to explore the recording opportunity for any special moment, making ghost movie for example.

Too light to avoid hand shaking, better use timer to capture outdoor photos at night. 320 movie is too rough. Avoid shoot light source directly using "Night Shoot" mode, the source will become a ray of light. Not good for normal purpose, good for special effect. . It takes time to learn the "memory" function to decide which parameters need to restore when power on again. But the above only minor defects of such small camera. It would be customed to personal photo habit. Different setting for my G2.
