優點:
D70 performs very well in 6 megapixel camera category.
-very good look
-reasonable in weight
- very fast start up, switch then shoot straight away.
- very fast saving after shoot.
-fast focus, night focus no problem at all
-shutter sound very nice
-easy to handle for a DSLR beginner like me.
-cheap in price
-kit lens good enough for general use
-excellent battery life, can take at least 400+ pics with LCD review, flash and long exposure.
-much choices in accessories such as lens and flash

-pic's saturation is so so, need some photoshop adjustment.
- only remote control available
-5 points focus only, not enough
-it would be better if it had ISO100 or below
however, no camera is perfect, 7k with kit lens 6megapixel DSLR is very valuable.

優點:
- 影像質素非常好, 出外旅行雖然重但都要 帶去, 因為影像比起細機真係差100倍!!
- 電力非常強勁, 送多粒電俾我都冇用過
- 一按即影

- 以前用開CP5700都要$7xxx(幾年前價), 相比起宜家都係賣$7xxx真係好抵
- 買鏡真係要買返原廠鏡, 相差真係幾大架

- iso 太高, 最低得200, 好彩影響唔到雜訊
- 都幾重, 有人鍾意有人唔鍾意

優點:
1. cheap, hong kit set at 7.8k with extra en-el3.
2. good quality kit lens (from 24-70). hard to tell from 17-35/2.8 with aperture 5.6 onward. silent focus action
3. quick response and long lasting battery life.
4. wide array of control parameter (WB, EV, Colour)
5. accurate colour (better than canon)

缺點:
1. when prinitng at fotomax, photos are of too high contrast and saturation.
2. a bit noiser than canon. still could use up to ISO800 without pro-processing.
3. narrow dynamic range and easily boom on highlights (compare with Fuji)

Advantages of this digital camera I don't want to mention here again as there are already too many ,,
缺點:
Nikon must be making tons of money from D70 as this camera is basically a piece of plastic electronic gadget (not a fine mechanical instrument any more) Check Nikon Corp's last quarter's earning, mostly due to D70.
D70 many be one of the best DSLRs in 2004, but not in 2005!!
