1. 貴了點，雖然以減至 $3780，$3500 比較合理。
2. 面部對焦不是很靈，不是很有用。
3. AEL 要 off flash 先生效，否則變了 AFL。
4. ABW 不是很準，試過在 MTR 一連試拍兩張相，得到不一樣的色温。
5. 沒有 28mm wide lens。
6. 沒有了 F2.0 大光圈。
7. 並不防水、防塵。
8. ISO 800 以上， nosie 我已不能接受。
9. 佩件 (咐加鏡) 貴。

評價:
等左半年等佢跌價， 到了$3780 先入貨，但凝覺得佢貴小小，可能單反啲價太平吧。 G9 雖然還有缺點，但以經是一部好好的 DC 了，由其小弟用於璟境惡劣的地盤中，很多一般 DC 影唔到的相 G9 都應付自如，而它的機動性又是單反俾唔到的，所以它是一部非常優秀的工作機。 當然你要用佢作一般生活、旅游、snap shot 用 DC 當然無問題；優缺點請看上面列表。

1. 可調教光光圈先決或快門先決,可拍攝黑背景相.
2. 可拍攝1024x768 movie,非常靚
3. 210mm以足夠一般拍攝,可以坐係公園拍攝小朋友玩耍,不再須要跑來跑去影他們...^.^

缺點:
1. 拍攝movie時不可zoom...

感覺就好似一部容易控制o既單鏡反光機再跟一枝標準變焦鏡(35mm-210mm)一樣,原廠重有出潛水箱!以價錢,size,相片質素來說簡直是超值!

優點:
Relatively (1) compact to produce TERRIFIC and POWERFUL images (I am not kidding!) which all seem like coming from the workhorse of DSLR, it also produces (2) RAW file as G7 omitted for later process.
It surpasses almost all of the DC in differential brands on the (3) photo shooting possibilities by its DSLR functions, such as its Manual Mode being almost entirely manual (!).

缺點:
(1) No Wide Shot,
(2) In Av Mode, the Aperture f2.8 cannot be reached, but f3.2,
(3) With (original Canon) Wide Len attached, fire light of the internal flash will not be sensored properly,
(4) Noisy ISO800 (& above) in dark atmosphere,
(5) Hard to hold and grip while handling.

ITS A CLASS OF ITS OWN - Canon G9, coming from the G series by Canon, in compare with the others "compact" DC.
PS: Its an good investment for a Canon G9 wide len, its really powerful to capture the scenery shots...
