室內用閃光燈影d相比較差,唔夠光會偏籃,用慢快門同步就好好多(不過無得set慢快門下限)
測光有時唔多準,要影多張+/-ev
拍片時無光學zoom.

功能方面,人面對焦/防手震/場景等功能,都比同類型機種弱,可以話係ricoh比其他牌子弱.
相質素方面,如果用100%睇d邊位係粒狀,如果resize細d(一般1800x2400)就好好多,,相片顏色都好鮮艷,尤其綠色,總的影像質素,以高倍數小型dc計,我覺得已算不俗,個人覺得比p牌子好.
用左一個月,覺得r8都好好用,高倍數變焦取影十分方便,方便帶出街,日常生活十分夠用..

for those neon light photos, most of the photos were shot with iso 1600 since i want to turn the demerit of ccd noise into a special effect which in fact can be made use of for creative photography. besides, the shutter was then faster so as to offset my serious hand shake due to my still recovering arm.

for those dawn/day light photos, i just let it decide all things for me except that i have cap the iso auto hi to 400 with camera shake correction on. No min. aperture set in order to enjoy the depth of field as small as possible.

on the positive side, its strong macro capability with 28mm under sunshine can really compete with DSLR with wide angle lens in creating interesting photos.

personally, i consider the noise of the pictures under the sun light is absolutely satisfactory to me. when it comes to scenes with day light but indoor or enclosed or covered area, the noise may not be 'noticeable' to someone, and 'not' to others dependent on whether one have to do 100% zoom or large print in view of its 1000 MP. i think 1000 MP somehow really helps normal print users to have cleaner, smoother images due to its ability to offset the increase in noise given the same size of ccd. when indoor at night, needless to say.

please note that to some people, the natural scenery photos may be too smoky but this feeling is reasonable since the air at that time is really dusty due to the rock crushing plants and the direction of wind within the city there. besides, no UV filter for DC also contributed. but i simply like the slightly smashing effect due to the limited resolution of the ccd. the pictures turned out to be like those drawn with crayon or acrylic. in fact, one of the elements in photography is arts.

Hard facts, pros, cons, criticisms, etc have been discussed out there yet I have not found many 'real' causal photos shared by 'real' end-users so far. Hence I would like to take this opportunity to share with you my two online albums taken with this camera without ANY PS, post editing etc. I think a sensible expectation of its capability and a responsible understanding of its limits is important in order to make the most out of this camera.

The blurring of some picture (though taken with camera shake correction on) goes to my serious hand shake due to my recovering from a recent fraction in my right arm.

Personally, I am really satisfied with the camera taken into account of its price in Hong Kong, quality, function etc and the few choices available in the market.

適合識基本影相既人用, 因為佢真係一部相機, 淨係識得影相... (起碼要識轉ISO, EV, WB, etc.)
如果d 人用慣casio個d scene mode 風景就風景mode, 影人就人像mode 個d... 或nikon影人就將兩個人塞入兩人影到... 呢部機就唔岩你啦...因為佢唔係sell d 騎呢功能... 因為佢唔需要... 佢就咁影已經好正...
不過如果你要影video既我都承認佢係唔得既...
我用過canon, nikon, casio, samsung, fujifilm and sony既 d cam... 第一次用ricoh (本來諗過fujifilm f100fd 但係都係頂唔順佢d油畫)... 需然呢部都唔夠GR DII咁靚... 但係佢平(3030@broadway) 夠靚 (絕對係同級最好)... 唔使轉mode極好用...
推薦those 想攞部細機影snapshot方方便便既人~ (哈哈我都係方係個shoulder bag 都夠放)
