You look outside the world, you grow old, and you get used to it.
You search for new experiences, new excitements, but those only good for few days, and you get used to them, sooner and sooner.
You try to buy them, sometimes it works, but most of the time, it does not, even if it does, it's only gives you a few days of pleasures.
Something cannot be bought, and also it does not need to be bought. It's simple, and it's so simple that you can easily forget and get used to.
Learn from the child. Remember when everything was new, and we are interested in what, why, where, when. We ask dumb questions. We have to urge to touch them, to feel them. Before we grow old, before we get used to life itself.
You may say, as the child grows old, they do the same. But this is pathetic, and in fact, irresponsible.
As you grow old, you see more than they do, you see more connections for one object with the rest of the world. These all add, instead of subtract.
When you see, instead of look, you see a bigger world, and that's what you tell your kids.
