i just read through the dcreview yestarday night and find out you can do 淺景深 by using Av mode =) when you in the Av mode set the F to 2.8 also use the macro mode, even though the macro in S40 is only make a close up but it helps a bit =) i have tried and it lookz nice =)

1. focus 唔好, 或;

For 1, Make sure u have focus the object, you can use other biggr object of the same distance to set focus and then take photo.



For 2, use tripod and remote(or 自拍 mode).



Try try lar. u can do it :)
