北極光 Panorama
Hello there!
This picture is taken at Bush Pilot Hill in Yellowknife. I've used 8 different photos to stitch them together. My first ever attempt.
In the centre of the photo, we can see the buildings at downtown Yellowknife. Left side of the photo is Yellowknife Bay (if you look carefully you can see a grey thin line, which is an iceroad that connects Yellowknife to Dettah), to the right side of the photo is Back bay.
Northern Light activity in Yellowknife is generally quite active. If Weather permitting, you can see Northern Light's activity at least once a week.
Any suggestion/criticism about my bad photographic skills are welcome!

Thank you for everyone's respones with my photo.
For the question about the temperature rating for D70, my experience tells me don't leave the camera on -30c for too long (4-5 hours). I tried once before, and when I tried to turn it on, the camera's response is too slow, the lens is very hazy, and the battries is about to be dead (fully charged). It took me half an hour to warm the camera up.
As far as I know, 10-20 minutes for the camera to exposed in cold environment is ok, but you have to be aware that when you bring that camera into heated environment , it will fog up, and once you get back to outside, the condensation may turn into ice...correct me if I'm wrong -
