The recent events in Lebanon make me sick. Israel, with the backing of the US, is going insane. While this is not new as the two partners-in-crime have been bullying their ways in the Middle East for decades with absolutely no regard for the lives and sufferings of non-Jews in this region, the recent unjustified events has gone too far for too long, and must be stop. Recent attack at Qana drove me and others up the wall. What Israel is doing is no different from “state terrorism”. Such indiscriminate killings and other disproportionate harsh tactics such as group punishment by bulldozing ordinary people’s homes often employed by the state of Israel have been its trademark for decades. Such “state terrorism” has in fact been bleeding individual terrorist acts by Muslim fanatics in the past decade or two. While history will tell who is in the right and who is in the wrong, the recent killings in Lebanon must stop. The suffering must stop. The children must be spared from all harms. The UN resolution to effect an immediate cease fire must go through quickly. The US must not get in the way by be vetoing the resolution. Israel must stop the indiscriminate and unjustified killings in other people’s land.



I did not take the above picture in Lebanon. Rather it was taken few months ago in Cambodia, another country which had suffered long and hard from wars and indiscriminate killings. The pain and suffering of people from war is however universal and knows no country boundary. Children of the world must not be put through any insane war and be harmed in any way. God bless Lebanon.
