Kasumi (香住) is fishing town by the east coast of Japan. It's about 4.5 hours drive from Osaka over a range of high mountain. It is rich in King crabs production with hot spring and beaches in the area.

We stayed at the Yuukarou-showa Inn in Kasumi, a hot spring resort / fishing area by the Japan sea. It was snowing heavily the whole time,..but the Kani fest (King Crab) was unbelievable. We visited this local fish market the next day. Store owners were busy selling to customers.
