Genuine glass of nickel Elmar has slight radioactivity due to the use of heavy metal elements, rending extra vividity and vigor.

Doug did a benchmark test using a Summicron 5cm (Type I, Collapsible) as benchmark.
As shown (Pic 4 & 5)
Front el. Cron. Coll. 0.23 µSv/h nickel Elmar 0.21 µSv/h
Rear el. Cron. Coll. 0.16 µSv/h nickel Elmar 0.27 µSv/h

For nickel Elmar, the Ø of its front & rear el. are both much smaller, but
(1) Front el. radioactivity is close.
(2) Rear el. radioactivity is 70% higher AND is farther away from Geiger Meter due to structural difference.

（見圖4、5）就面鏡、尾鏡直徑而言，鎳版Elmar都細好多，但
（1） 兩者面鏡之放射性相近。
（2） Nickel Elmar尾鏡之放射性高出70%，且因結構原因，Elmar尾鏡距輻射計較遠。

因此確認鏡片為原裝。
