Long in collection, this gem is now to find a new home.
Spent $1500 on CAL by Doug at ROLLEICA™.

Tessar is a special breed in Rollei TLR lines for its unique, unsurpassed rendition in BW photog.

Up till MX-EVS (Exposure Value Synchronization) Tessar still ranked in the ‘flex’ flock, which then encompassed Planar, Xenotar and this Tessar. Maybe Rollei wanted to reserve the top line ‘flex’ to enshrine only Planar and Xenotar, so it ‘created’ the T model, which is much simplified using plastic parts in critical components yet doesn’t look as cheapy as ‘cord’.

Hence, MX EVS is the last model with the top tier flex chassis and a Tessar.

Even a T in similar condition asks for breathtaking prices, much higher than this one.

This explains why museum grade MX-EVS is almost impossible to spot in marketplace.

或許Rollei 希望將頂級「flex」系列僅用於Planar 和 Xenotar，因此「創造」了 T 型，T型在關鍵部件中使用了塑料零件，結構更加簡化，同時外觀又不像「cord」那樣廉價。

因此，MX EVS是最後一款採用頂級flex機身和 Tessar 鏡頭的機型。

這就解釋了為什麼博物館級的MX-EVS在市場上幾乎絕跡。

現時，即使是品相相近的T型機，價格也高得驚人，報價遠高於這台。
