I have used many DCs before. The previous one is F200.
Took about 100 photos today:
-Handling is great. The ring in the front is extremely useful. In terms of hanling i do not think there is another DC at this moment which can compare. However, please note the loose ring at the back where some users find it too easy to change settings unintentionally. I had one photo out of 100 of which the settings were changed unintentionally, but after all, 99% of the photos i have had no problem.
-Pocketability is good. no problem with it in my jeans even with the ixus bag which came with it when i bought in Broadway.
-Battery life cannot be determined with only 100 shots today. Battery meter is still showing "full" after 100 shots with some flashes and heavy review and menu settings (first time to use it so you can expect!)
-Colour is great. I use the custom colour whcih i can tweak to my likings. I like the colour better than that of Fujifilm F200, however i think this comes to personal taste.
- Dynamic range is ok. However, F200 is much much better in this regard. I find myself missing the dynamic range of the F200 sometimes.
- Night Shots are very good with iso up to 800. Anything over is still VERY usable for small prints. One thing to note is that because of F2.0 you can use lower ISO with S90 than other DC such as F200. That is why i think S90 is a better "night camera" than F200.
-Point-and-Shootability - I find the S90 is great, but you have to use it with care. Compare to F200, i think F200 is a better P&S camera.
Overall, i am a happy S90 owner and i have to say, the photo quality is excellent for a camera that can be stuffed inside your jeans pocket.

雜訊超低,畫質超正,WB超準,我用過不少DC, Canon G2 G3 Olympus 5050, 8080, Panasonic LX2 LX3...結果都係要換機,或者S90會令我Keep 住用落去.

DC 嚟講質素已經唔錯，個人正需要一部DC，對 S90 滿意！

1. 真真正正的‘自動模式’，用AUTO可以影到十分滿意的相片，由場景、iso到白平衡都能準確測量，方便snapshots。其他模式就可以滿足愛影相愛玩的人。
2. 可以加日期時間。
3. My colours 多了許多選擇（比我舊的IXUS750)。
4. 可選擇閃光燈的光度。
5. 白平衡十分準確 - 用開的IXUS750及４００Ｄ，一走到室內就要較白平衡！
6. 除了機前的ring外，機背的ring也很好用！
7. noise control 超滿意。
8. 自拍模式可以自選秒數及數量。
9. 有兩隻線的插頭。
10. 場景中，色彩強化模式好好玩！

買了 IXUS７５０後，一直都很期望Canon可以出一部有F1.8，而且外型又靚又輕的相機，因為我想要這樣的一部機在家中影貓、去旅行當副機影snapshots。雖然S90只有F2.0，但是它能做到的效果真的令我很滿意了！
之前見過有評語說它的noise control差，買機後，我嘗試在不同的低光情況下試拍，感到效果是可以接受的。它其中有一個模式是用來玩懷舊feel，做重noise感覺，不知是不是那個模式令人誤會了！

2. 顏色飽和度不太高, 一貫的Canon特色吧.
3. 手感一般, 因為太咭片, 沒有手握位, 有時都怕跌架.

評價:
很好的隨身機, 不足200g, 3.6倍光學變焦, 有成千萬像素, 數碼變焦仲可以有成15倍, 勁. 最特別的是它的鏡頭轉環, 不止給你單鏡機的專業感, 也著實是實用方便, 再配合背後的小轉環, 真係咩隨手Set到呢!

初初想買GF1、不過看了S90後、一機在手、有Zoom 有flash有質素、以後又唔使買補品、重可以放入褲袋
(當然質素比不上GF1、質素是指DC仔同DC仔比)

Excellent high ISO quality even at 800.
Unbelievably well "Image Stabilization", much much better than my Lumix.
Control knobs and menu perfectly designed.
Front and back control rings very handy.

Sleepery body (much better after fixing a triangular shaped soft pad on right side, with mouse pad material).
