excellent pictures as A80, fast focus in day time.

lcd is clear and big, good hand feel, good looking.

use cf card and 4xaa batteries, long life battery.

twisted lcd easy to take photos in different position.

not for prosumer users,

Good price and the photo is sharp, great value for under $3000.

Hard to focus when it is in dark area, the LCD need to see in some direction for more clear, but overall it is really a good Camera and is better then my Sony w1.

I am a user of S30 before and found some adequacies in A-series

1) poor LCD display, even though it is 1.8 inch, when you look from side angle, you can see nearly nothing, like the display of ATM mechine, for security reason???

2) poor workmanship, when I switch off the camera, I found that len cover cannot be closed tightly, I still can see the len from the "crack", I doubt if I need to change another camera set!

3) difficult to focus in dim area, worse still, the display show you nearly dark at all

4) when using Tv mode, you can't see the difference from the display when using different setting at Tv (compare with S30)
