IS is very useful and the picture quality is very sharp! And the light weight added 1 star makes it a 5 star lens!

F4 is not good enough for portrait and it doesn't include the tripod collar!

I really like this lens! It is good not only it has good quality, but also the light weight! IS function is handy! If would be great if is included the tripod collar...

IS advantage is obvious. It makes much difference with without IS. Light weight and attractive outlook. Focus speed is quite good.

F4 is slightly below SW (f2.8)
Hood is too thick and not stylish

This is a very light weight telephoto lens at reasonable price. Material is good and durable. Have 2 IS mode to provide specialized need. Quite good attached to 40D with 1.6x

揀呢支鏡應該係想2.8 / 4IS二揀一．本報告亦係針對呢點．呢兩支鏡既慣常用處係：人像及打雀，要求遠攝．安全快門兩支差唔多，要考慮既其實係 1) 重量，同埋 2) 會唔會增距．用於APS-C通常唔增距已有好效果，所以4 IS既機動性會好好，但要增距使用FF則2.8更佳！

想睇其他既鏡請參考小弟其他報告！

用呢支鏡時間唔長、不過之前用已用開SIGMA 70-300而愛上用長鏡，拍自然生態到人像都一流! 而小小白比到我既係另一個更高的層次，而佢既輕身及價位比起小白IS 亦係我揀小小白既最大原因! 好多人都話佢貴，但係佢俾到你既無論手感、解像度、對焦快、4級快門穩定等都係高水準鏡頭既感受，我覺得買左一定唔會後悔! (Sorry, 好HARD SELL添... 不過好多)

Quiet, Light, Fast Focus, Great Quality Pics
Can bear down to 1/50s at 200mm (some pics).

A little expensive, other than that. no much.

I have used the non-IS version before, and was already happy with the overall quality. Now with IS, make this len even more impressive.
