This is my long awaiting standard zoom (DX format) since Nikon's is too expensive in my own viewpoint (I rarely use this range)

查實這支鏡頭並非我所購買，是我從朋友借來使用了個多月的，使用後我覺得這支鏡頭手感很好，比我的那支Canon EF-S 17-55mm f2.8 IS USM好多了，而且其光學質素及解像力也沒有令人失望，我覺得比其他副廠的同級鏡頭要好，甚至比騰龍的A16要好，可惜價錢較貴，這點實削弱了其競爭力，可能是其造工及用料成本較高罷！

買左既朋友如果用NIKON不妨比六百零蚊買多支 NIKON 18-55 II 試一試, 無論影遠定近, 任何光圈都唔夠支KIT LENS SHARP. 唔1話我支係BAD COPY, 因為唔SHARP, 我已經好無賴咁屈支鏡有問題換過一支, 都係咁. 可以說是垃圾鏡
優點:
Good focus accuracy with S5pro, becoz I tried A16 / 18-50 2.8 both have focus problem on S5pro, only this tokina 16-50 is perfectly match.
The lens is very sharp at 2.8 wide open WOW. It is also solidly built, u will be confiendent to use this lens in any situation.

缺點:
Purple fringing is a minor disavantage of this lens. It is also a bit heavier when compared to A16 and 18-50/2.8. Focus speed is normal / acceptable, which is enough for most scene, but certainly it is not for serious sport photography.

After trying 3 copies of A16 and 4 copies of 18-50/2.8, I am very lucky to find a lens without focus problem on my S5pro!!!
Purple fringing is really a minor problem when the same problem is found on some of the expensive Carl Zeiss ZF prime lens! It is obvious only when u watch the photo at pixel by pixel size. You can hardly discover the purple fringe at 8x12" output.
