因小弟由5DII降格用1d3...不嬲鐘情35mm焦距效果,亦曾擁有過35L,其立體效果出眾,後來轉用1d3兼放出35L...改入35.2...要X1.3關係...無咗35mm效果...一直對其視覺效果念念不忘..卒之放低十三張金色牛仔換取呢支嘢..有以前小弟用35L响FF上面嘅表現...不過無咗黑角(唔知FF上有無)如果用X1.6或X1.3強烈推介此鏡...不過唔知FF上用影人會唔會效果重强D...如果ching心大心細入唔入好...入啦...正到痺...
優點:
- Sharp, extremely high resolution and clear picture
- Good depth of field (f1.4) with wide-angle, especially good for close-up with wide picture.
- Balance well with 5DII.
- Not extremely heavy as 50f1.2 and 85f1.2. Can fit well with FF or APS-C.
- Nice dust/water proof body, no more plastic feeling.

This is a dream lens; color, image quality, resolution - everything is superb.
So far still limited stocks available in the world (not only in HK). It is one of the best lens on the 24mm prime range from all manufacturers.
Strongly recommend when you want to move to prime-lens group, from 17-40 or 16-35. Also a good choice if you get used to 24-105.
The weight of the lens make it perfect travel, and for all day-use; not heavy and excellent color, good to keep all memory in the best shape.

- How can a "L" lens has defect? It cost 13,000HKD! extremely unacceptable
- No stock in general; Man Shing has > 10 ppl on waiting list (WTF)
- Heavy duty focusing distance; focus can take up to >90 degree movement inside, quite slow compare to 17-40mm f/4

Inside the focusing window, the micro-motor/label/etc are broken after tested 20 photos. Unbearable manufacturing quality; no matter how good the Structured-Wavelength Coating (SWC), redesign, how many UD lens used...this became a rubbish lens.
I have 17-40mm f/4 and 70-200mm f/4 used heavily with film/dslr for 7 years. Never seen such a horrible quality on "L" lens. Where is quality? Image Quality/Sharpness is not as good as Nikon already, crazy bad quality scare all Canon-fans away. providing HD-video recording is good idea: canon is now only interested in video, not still-image anymore.

1.鏡的中央及邊緣解像度均十分出色，只要將光圈收到2.0已有相當出色的效果。(其實光圈全開也不差)
2.鏡片上用了全新的物料，令昡光情況幾乎不會出現。
3.以廣角鏡來說變形已控制得不錯。
4.色彩鮮艷，層次感強，還原度十分高。
5.只要將光圈收到2.0，暗角已幾乎不覺，收到4.0已完消失。
6.遮光罩比上代易裝上。
7.可用回77mm的濾鏡，省了不少錢。

這支鏡在聖誕前買的，買了之後並沒有後悔，它的成像的確令我十分驚喜，曾經用過：24-105L、17-40L、50.4、50.8、70-300DO及百微。以前覺得24-105L、17-40L已十分好，誰知一鏡還有一鏡高，這支24L給我的感覺是物有所值，它拍出來的成像、色彩、層之感均是一流。
曾在網上及書本上看過說24L一代的顏色比較淡(我未用過一代)，但二代相信已沒有這個問題。
自從用了此鏡後，多數會帶同支百微去影相，結果24-105L、17-40L被我打入到冷宮。
