整體而言，此鏡不過不失，在kit 鏡中也說不錯，要求不高的朋友大可一試..

Very fast focus (thanks to USM);

It's a good walk-around lens with versatile zoom range plus USM and IS. I believe the major drawback of this lens is the poor optical performance at the wide angle side. For those who seldom use 17mm, this lens would still be an okay walk-around kit lens provided that you are willing to pay more for the sake of USM and IS.

IS, good range, solid build, no rotating element
缺點:
Poor optical quality, especially wide open, serious CA and geometric distortion observed; very expensive considering its image quality

It is a good work-around lens if you don't put too much expectation on the image quality; at 4k it should demonstate much better optical quality than the kit one.......
