- Nice colour reproduction (European style colour tone but it is not as saturated as the Lumix/(DC Leica) style)
- Good price (around HK$1,700) for a "hong" good
- Schneider lens with Kodak CCD. You won't get Kodak CCD in a Samsung Schneider lens DC but it will cost a lot more
- Excellent and accurate auto white balance, best in the class. Better than many recent DSLRs!! (including Canon 400D/450D, Pentax K20D, Lumix G2). At par with Canon 550D
- Best in the class, control and interface
- Good body design, easy to hold, not too small (as you will need a good size/weight for taking tele (250 - 350mm) shots
- Built-in flash without pop-up (don't understand why Canon's use a pop-up flash)
- A full 3" LCD (not a 16:9 3" LCD that it will crop images if shooting in 4:3 mode)
- Control dial can switch to "P", "Av", "M", "Movie", "Auto" easily (unlike the Samsung DC that combines "PSM" modes to one mode. Not even the lastest Sony NEX has such dial)
- Has base ISO at 64, a very low noise option (don't understand why some DC produces noise at base level ISO)

- Very slow (you will need a class 10 SD card) when saving photos, (but AF speed is fine)
- No custom white balance
- No raw option (but the camera is too slow for this)
- User menu has little explanation
- LCD screen resolution at 230,000 dots only
- weak ISO performance at 800+ (ok at ISO400)
- tends to over expose if under very bright outdoor scene (aperture size too small, shutter not fast enough)

- Great everyday DC
- Ideal combination (Kodak CCD with Schneider lens)
- No need to go to menu function screens for most of the time
- Canon only release the same level camera more than one year later (PowerShot SX130 IS)!
- Highly recommended for those looking for a travel DC, best in the class if you want to spend time to take good photos

手感一流，把手位有防滑膠，可單手同時揸機及按快門；
防震不錯，zoom到10倍時都幾清（當然我隻手都算幾定啦^^）；
10X zoom一般家用已很足夠；
色差少，影出來跟肉眼看差異不大；
平（我用部舊Kodak機trade in打個8折實價$2152）；
Schneider鏡，絕對靚；
介面user friendly，機頂轉盤及按鈕令很多設定不用入menu較；
1200萬像素（我用3:2只得1070萬）並非特別出眾，但解析度有480dpi，晒大相高下立見；
全景模式好正，拍三張合併為180度無敵靚景；
自拍人像模式方便我這些自戀狂人士=.="

一字記之曰－－慢
- zoom到最大時對焦會比較慢；
- save相慢，我用class 4咭，唔揀即時預覽，save相時可"偷雞"影下一張；
- 睇相時放大太慢，家中無電腦只能在mon睇相者請三思；
- 無RAW；但save相慢，有都唔會揀啦！
選擇「自動場景」模式中，沒有「色彩模式」的選擇（即黑白懷舊高彩自然）
跟機無獨立叉座，叉電要靠機身，如果唔買代叉，買多舊電意欲不大（雖然原廠電$120幾吸引，但原廠叉機要$250）
Made in China（另購的原廠電都係MIC，但跟機嗰舊竟然係Made in Japan喎！！）

作為旅遊機，真係一流。機身不重（對單反而言），又有自動又有手動，又可拍720p高清片，呢個價去邊度搵？？
講速度，心急者唯有另請高明吧！
講色彩，Kodak真係數一數二（係藍色紫色桃紅色爭少少，但呢幾隻色都係DC仔嘅通病）；
可能早幾年部LS443令人失信心，加上Kodak的主要市場並非亞洲區，以致外形設計上給日系機比下去，也難討香港人歡心。

(1*) Z950本來有無敵function: "拍片自動對焦, 拍攝其間變焦 也能自動追焦", 但追焦速度實在太慢, 直接導致我唔買Z950.
(2) 睇相時操作不太好.
(3) Made in China, 所以平
(4) LCD 只有23萬像素

Z950個款十足20年前幾百元菲林機的外形, 我尤其喜款那懷舊的閃光燈. 本身對US品牌Kodak印像不差. 見此機又平又好又復古, 決定2月中旬到 中原 試咗45min.

如一般用途, 平衡價錢(低)功能(多), 正常要求. 我推介Z950給各位師兄, 唔駛買唔夠好的Canon s90, 而Ricoh GRD III又太貴.

Z950不適用於下列師兄:
(1) 高量生活相 用家 (如我) - 此機操作稍慢, 方便當然不及Ricoh GRD III.
(2) 高要求 用家 - 追求質素, 只能購用D-SLR (放棄Z950後, 我最終選購Canon 550D. 滿意.)
