原本想買D3000/D50000, 但是, D3000機身細左D, D5000又貴左DD, 到真係買的時候, saleman 比A500我睇, 好正, 機身夠大,可以包埋手指尾(ME), OVF比D3000/D5000太D, LCD有3吋, 始終順眼D, LIFEVIEW我好少用, 只用於低高影相, 反而好fit my parents, just like a DC. 機身用左好多防滑material.GD. 5張連拍幾爽, 不過A550好似仲爽, 不過又貴DD, 加上又不是crucial factor~

優點:
There is a SUNSET mode - very handy.
Portrait mode - photos are good quality.
My favorite lens is 50mm F1.8 - priced reasonably and big aperture. Very handy INDOOR taking portraits.
HDR is very impressive and works pretty well without tripod under the sun.

Not many third party lens.
Quite heavy.
LCD cannot turn sideway.
HOT-SHOE are not compatible with normal CANON or NIKON flash, another adapter is required.

Easy to use and photos are usually of good quality (+75% in my case). Color of the photos are quite rich by using AUTO. A few friends were surprised by the quality of the photos.
Continuous-advance rate can produce a max. of 5 fps but it really depends on the memory card used.
I've been using it for 4 weeks now and had about 1800 shots. Overall quality are quite good and leaving it in AUTO mode are acceptable. Quite acceptable for taking family photos in various light conditions.
I've compared it with EOS 500D, the overall brightness of the photo by A500 is higher. This is very noticeable especially in INDOOR. This is a good thing. I think it must be the result of the new Sony CMOS Exmor Sensor. This usually save me from using Photoshop afterward.

之前試過部A330, 發現係夜晚真係唔多夠用,之後見到A500 同A550, 只係MON PIXEL 同 像素差少少! 但平就成千蚊,於是買左A500,發現佢NOISE CONTROL 真係唔錯,ISO 去到3200都免強接受到,而且佢支KIT LENS 寫住 "MIJ" 應該都係係日本組裝ONLY,但個QC 同D 相影出黎真係好過 A330 個支KIT LENS(MADE IN TAILAND) SHARP 都SHARP 好多,整體黎講,非常唔錯,而且手感好好多,比起D入門機 EG: C記EOS 1KD / 450D/N記D3000/a A330/380 等等 呢部手感真係好好多!!對於男仔黎講,唔使覺得輕飄飄咁,建議新手直上A500/A550
而且依家係FORTRESS 買..單KIT SET 只係53XX 左右,非常抵玩!
