Nikon CoolPix S8100

Quick response, 1080P + 120fps, AF in video mode, can zoom in video mode (1080P/720P), very good picture quality, natural color, good WB, pretty good ISO performance, good grip, excellent LCD screen. Easy to change exposure +/-. 10x zoom, stereo microphone (haven't really try that yet). VR works! Good price for a CMOS DC.

30mm not wide enough, no battery indicator, pop-up flash light, my pc can't handle 120fps, so I have to lower it to 60fps (video), but it's still very smooth. Can't zoom in video if you lower the video quality setting. Missing Sony's panoramic function. In camera charging, but the camera won't turn on while charging. Rather have a external charger, so I can use 1 and charge 1.

Saw it at a store, and thought it's a S8000. Picked it up, and tested it, and my first feeling was "pretty quick." Then, I took a few pictures with it, and realized that the screen and pictures are very nice. Then, I bought it, and took more pictures with it in different situation. First I thought the pictures may only look nice in the camera with the high resolution screen. Later I found it actually takes very good pictures, indoor, outdoor, good light, low light. AF is pretty quick in good light. Anyways, it blows away my Sony H-55, but not as good as my D90 (can't really compare that with DSLR). But as a DC, it gets the job done well, very well.

I am a Nikon fan, but I never look at Nikon's DC because I think Canon and Sony did a better job in that segment. This is my first Nikon DC, and this is surprisingly good.

-雖然粒cmos得1/2.4' 但成像不俗 估計係ed鏡片既作用
-vr強得過分 係camx試機 300mm 1/13都仲sharp

-最wide先得30mm 28mm開始會更加好 影風景可以更有氣勢
-個zoom制好雞 好似想甩出泥咁 初時以為sample機俾人用得多先係咁 點知去買時試機都係咁 打左個突
-電量少 差爆電都係打200張到

之前用緊d90+dp1s 影event用d90 平時出街就拎dp1s
但有番咁上下年資?!既ching都知 sigma d機日頭就正到痺 一係室內or夜晚就好似blind左一樣 所以有時都會拎d90加支閃出街 起初都無乜野 但咁落去都唔係辦法 一泥唔方便 二泥好突兀 所以就諗住買多部compact平時用 本身有comprae過wx5&tx9 最後先搵到呢部s8100

點解唔選擇其他個2部?
wx5: 唔夠zoom 去盡都係120mm 唔使諗 用過dp1s 有時見到d事發生 但老x咁遠 當場企係度 得個睇字
tx9: 女友十分鍾意 有3dmode panomora mode defocus 同預期想搵既差唔多 但價錢問題 加上又係唔夠zoom既情況下 放棄左

s8100:一睇個spec 30-300mm 1080p video backlight cmos night portaritmode 心諗係咪咁把炮 一試 中毒 係個30mm累事 如果唔係應該會更多人欣賞?!or認識

今個聖誕節 想輕鬆影燈飾又budget有限 大可試試呢一部s8100 畢竟唔係人人都需要s95 lx5呢d操作比較煩多既機

用兩三日鏡頭已入左一條毛
直接機身充電有D唔方便
色彩偏淡但加飽和度可以解決

10倍zoom幾方便， 雖然光圈唔夠大， 但影光線不足地方幾夜景唔會比現在幾款大光圈傻瓜機差， 要景深就唔駛念啦， 高清拍片質素ok，仲有好多桌頭野唔講， 二千來蚊機我認為幾超值， richo cx4同佢撿結果撿左呢部， 暫時無後悔。
