Wonderful for birders
優點:
Extremely light weight; 800mm digital zoom that fits in your palm; reasonable photo quality in good light

Struggles in low light; missing D-pad for menu navigation.

As an amateur birder who spends a lot of time trekking in the woods, this petit camera ticks all the boxes: negligible weight, 400mm optical + 2x digital zoom, and the ability to record 1080p videos, all in a form factor no bigger than a vape box. It allows me to quickly capture this or that flighty bird in sufficient detail for later IDing, which is not possible with conventional spotting scope/ binoculars setup. While it cannot compare with the Nikon P1000 in usefulness in that regard, it weighs next to nothing and every ounce adds up after a long day in the field. All in all, the PS Zoom is a welcome addition to any birder's arsenal.
