(雖然好少用)，但可拍 AVI 短片、Motion JPEG，並支援 WAVE 檔案音效

ISO 控制上限為 400

由 2003年聖誕前夕開始，直到購入 40D 及 550D 後才逐漸淡出，S50 用左 6年依然操作正常，加上功能齊全 (可參考上列優點)，係難得一部夠全面的相機！
