Very nice appearance, small size and light weight.

Flip-out LCD screen.

Stero sound input.

Reasonable battery life.

Small video file size.

LCD too small.

Use SD card (not CF card), it limits the size of possible memory.

Mpeg4 movie file, not easy to find player software, if I send it to others.

Weak flash and cannot use ext. flash.

Too little manual control.

Have been using this model for 6 months, it can almost replace the DV. Especially when you don't want to carry both DC and DV and some times a film camera as well. Most of my fans were suprised when i show them the video quality on TV. Some of them bought it because this. About pic quality, i usally use it as normal party and family qathering events, so no complaints.

in dark environment, it is very difficult to focus and capture video. When taking video, don't take pic at the sametime. It will make your video has a 2 sec delay (still recording sound).

I want to ask how to check the firmware version of this camera? I bought it last year's Dec so I'd like to know if there is any new firmware upgrade to fix some problem.. anyone can help?
