評價:
Been shooting fujifilm for a long time, pretty much owned majority of their lens. Alot of the fujifilm shooters claimed the 35mm f/1.4 as magical, I like the lens, the bokeh rendering might be great but the autofocus is definity a let down. Sold my 35mm f/1.4 and upgraded to this 33mm f/1.4 as soon as it is available at my local camera store. Although fujifilm claimed this is not a successor to the 35mm f/1.4 but it is for sure the lens that people would compare with, together with the 35mm f/2.
If you are into video, this will be the one to go for vs the other 35mm in the lineup. The 35mm f/1.4 autofocus just can't keep up and rather noisy. The 35mm f/2 suffers from bad focus breathing. This 33mm f/1.4 solves all the issues, almost non existent focus breathing, the LM autofocus motor is accurate and fast, more importantly silent.
For photography, the lens is sharp corner to corner even wide open at f/1.4, which is a huge improvement over the 35mm f/1.4 where the corners are rather soft. 9 bladed aperture gives smooth bokeh and round bokeh balls even when stopped down. Flare and CA are well controlled even shooting into light source. Autofocus is excellent, no issue tracking any subjects especially with newer bodies like the XT4, Xpro3, XE4 or XS10.
Where size and weight are great but it is bigger than the 35mm f/1.4, with smaller bodies you may find the balance shifted to the front. But at the end of the day, still remain a relatively small footprint for a f/1.4. The lens hood is a bit too big imo, and sucks that it doesn't come with the square hood anymore like the 35mm f/1.4 does.
For those who are thinking about upgrading from the 35mm f/1.4, I think it is well worth the money. Rendering I think it is as great as the OG but it is the autofocus that shines.
