人像F2.8常用 好小走焦，收到F4 利害無比，景深非常接近定焦，基本上無咩缺點。DX必上。。。。。唔系騰龍和死馬能夠比得倒噶光學質素。。。

用左兩年都唔覺得距有咩問題，成像好 比17-35 對焦快準狠，色彩還原真實 3片ED 值得信賴 DX首選。用開龍子噶你千奇米試，試左你就知。

雖然只用14日,缺點優點都睇得7788,接近萬元的價格,
還是可以接受的,04年到依家都仲叫好叫座,The king of lens不是浪得虛名!
呢支鏡直頭可以當搵食"架生",買左不會後悔,
賣番出去都不會蝕很多,仲有機會好似小黑5甘停産後,
二手賣出去仲貴過你一手買番黎呢!

I still remember when I first bought my 18-200vr, I fell in love with it. I thought I don't need any other lens, and I thought I had been taking sharp pictures....... until I got this 17-55mm. Really hard to explain in words. Focus super fast, good in low light (sometimes I still need to use external flash), I wouldn't believe a lens can upgrade a body's PQ by soooo much. I tested it side by side with 18-200 and 35.8, and it provided the best color, picture detail, and sharpness. That's what I had been missing from other lens. Now I can't go back to 18-200, and I have already sold my 35.8 because I know 35.8 won't satisfy me anymore. If you can handle the heavy and/or the price, this is the perfect DX standard zoom lens.
On the side: I thought about switching to Canon when I wanted to upgrade from my first DSLR, but I chose to stay with Nikon because of the 18-200VR (look and performance). Now with this Nikon 17-55, Canon just don't have one to compare it with (in this range). Canon's 17-55 is not a L-lens, and qualify is too far off (although it has IS). Then the L-len is not f/2.8.....
Anyways, Nikon DX fans (proud to be a N-kee person), this is the best you can get!!! Get an used one if you worry that you will upgrade to FF soon. It's like a free rental because you can sell it easily at about the same price.
